Parking - Lot Details

At Denver International Airport, all parking facilities are open 24 hours every day, and all major credit cards are accepted for payment. You may park up to 30 days in any of our facilities (excluding the Short-Term Parking Lot) without making special arrangements. To make arrangements, call (303) 342-4645.

Free shuttles from the shuttle parking lots run 24 hours a day and approximately every 10 minutes. Other free services for our customers include battery jump starts, help with locating your vehicle, tire inflations, and retrieving your keys if you’ve locked them in your car. For any of these services, call (303) 342-4645 at any time.

GARAGE PARKING 8148 Pena Boulevard (West), 8511 Pena Boulevard (East), Denver, Colorado 80249
$18 per day maximum
Located on both the east and west sides of Jeppesen Terminal. Levels 1 - 4 are covered and Level 5 is uncovered. Overhead roadway signs on Peña Boulevard, and again at the entrances to the garages, indicate whether levels are open or full. Typically the garage has plenty of parking on Mondays, but by Tuesdays or Wednesdays open spaces become fewer and more scattered throughout. We suggest allowing plenty of time to search for those few scattered spaces if you choose to park in the garage.

DIA’s economy parking lots are located just outside the terminal garages on the terminal’s east and west sides. Economy parking is the closest shuttle lot to the terminal. Free shuttle buses pick up departing passengers at shelters, 24 hours a day, approximately every 10 minutes. If you choose, and time permits, the economy lots are also close enough to walk to the terminal. When you return from a flight, shuttles pick you up Terminal East side, Level 2, outside Door 217, and on the Terminal West side, Level 2, outside Door 216.

PIKES PEAK SHUTTLE PARKING 24300 East 75th Avenue, Denver, Colorado 80249
$5 per day maximum
The least expensive and closest shuttle lot serving DIA. This lot is just $5 a day and located approximately three miles from Jeppesen Terminal. Take the 75th Avenue exit off Peña Boulevard, east of the E-470 overpass.

Free shuttle buses run 24 hours a day, every 10 minutes, picking up departing passengers at the shelters. A row indicator sign at the entrance to Pikes Peak guides you to rows with open spaces to save you time searching for a space. We suggest planning an additional 30 minutes for parking when choosing Pikes Peak, to allow for parking and travel time.

Shuttles drop off our customers curbside on Level 5 of Jeppesen Terminal, on both the east and west sides. After returning to Denver, go to Level 5 of the Jeppesen Terminal, island 5, outside doors 504/506 on the west and 511/513 on the east, and ride the Pikes Peak Route A or Pikes Peak Route B shuttle back to the lot. Route A serves the northern half of the lot and Route B serves the southern half of the lot. If you are unsure which shuttle to take, ask a driver.

If Pikes Peak fills up, we have nearly 9,000 more $5-a-day spaces in the Mt. Elbert Shuttle Lot, just a little further southeast of Pikes Peak. Signage or traffic directors will lead you from the Pikes Peak lot to Mt. Elbert.

45-MINUTE WAITING AREA
No Cost
Located just off the 75th Avenue Exit on Peña Boulevard, to your right, and east of the E-470 overpass. The 45-minute waiting area is intended for airport customers who are picking up arriving passengers. The area is often called a “cell-phone lot” because arriving travelers usually notify their pick-up drivers via cell phone. From this waiting area, it is easy and convenient to pick up an arriving party curbside at a numbered terminal door on Level 4 (Arrivals).  Note: Baggage pickup is on Level 5 and does not have public vehicle access, so direct your party to Level 4.

The maximum wait time at this facility is 45 minutes.  During peak periods, if this lot becomes full or congested, it may be closed for a short time. An alternative to this lot is to park in the garage for just $2 an hour or in Short-Term Parking for $3 an hour. For safety, vehicles are not allowed to park on Peña Boulevard or terminal roadways.
