Due to Pikes Peak lot construction, travelers should use the Landside parking lot located at 6975 Valley Head Street.
This lot will be open for overflow parking starting at 3 a.m. until full, on Wednesday, July 3. The Pikes Peak and Longs Peak shuttle parking lots will close on Wednesday, July 3 at 3 a.m. and re-open by 5 p.m. Regular shuttle service will still be available to/ from all parking lots. | Separately, Rows A-D in the West Garage will be closed July 15 through July 22 on all levels for power washing and re-striping work. Any remaining vehicles in the area will be relocated to the surface lot adjacent to the southwest corner of West Garage.

Jeppesen Terminal at DEN features 2.6 million square feet of space and includes passenger ticketing, baggage claim, ground transportation, international arrivals, shops and restaurants, office areas and the TSA security checkpoints.
Jeppesen Terminal’s internationally recognized peaked roof, designed by Fentress Bradburn Architects, is reflective of snow-capped mountains and evokes the early history of Colorado when Native American teepees were located across the Great Plains.
DEN’s Jeppesen Terminal is the airport’s only terminal. It’s a huge structure with 2.6 million square feet of space, covered by a 240,000 square foot tent roof. Here’s a description of what’s on each public level to help you find your way.
It is located one level below the baggage claims. You can access Level 4 via handy elevators, escalators and even by stairs for the more-adventurous travelers.
It’s good to remember that even-numbered doors are on the west side of the Jeppesen Terminal and odd-numbered doors are on the east side.
Level 5 is where you’ll find the South Security Checkpoint, baggage carousels, taxi cabs, ride share services and rental car and hotel shuttles. It’s also where you’ll access the Westin Denver International Airport and the escalator that takes you to RTD buses and trains.
Baggage carousels, numbers 1 – 9, are found on the east side of the Terminal. Numbers 10 – 19 are found on the west side.
Level 6 is where you’ll find airline check-in, baggage check and access to the Bridge and West security screening areas.
For many travelers, Level 6 is where their journey through DEN begins. It’s where you’ll check your bags and confer with your airline prior to boarding.
Passengers arrive at Jeppesen Terminal via Peña Boulevard, the airport roadway. The roadway divides to Terminal West and Terminal East but also separates into three traffic levels for greater convenience and less traffic congestion:
Personal passenger pick-ups are located on Level 4 – take an elevator or escalator down from Baggage Claim
Drop-off and pick-up lanes for taxis, car rental vans, shuttles, buses, limousines, Uber and Lyft passengers
Departing passengers, curbside baggage check-in and airline ticketing
Bridge Security is accessed on the north end of Level 6 and provides a handy way to walk to the A Gates. B and C Gates can be accessed from Bridge Security only by boarding the Train to the Gates via elevators or escalators post-checkpoint.
The South Security Checkpoint is on Level 5 of the Jeppesen Terminal and is the primary checkpoint for regular passengers.
The West Security Checkpoint is on Level 6 of the Jeppesen Terminal and is primarily for passengers with TSA Precheck credentials.
The Train to the Gates (or the Automated Guideway Transit System) connects Jeppesen Terminal and all three DEN concourses.
After security screening at the South or West checkpoints, passengers are directed to the Train to the Gates. The train trip from the Terminal to C Gates is less than ten minutes. Train stations are located in the center of each concourse. Signs will direct you.
Denver International Airport has three concourses (Gates A, B and C) beyond security screening that provide access to the airline gates. Electric carts are available to transport elderly or disabled passengers to airline gates.
Airlines located on A Gates are accessible by train from Jeppesen Terminal or by the passenger bridge, a unique walkway that spans a taxiway. The passenger bridge offers a closeup view of airplanes as they move to their gates. A Concourse contains gates A26 through A87.

DEN’s B Gates feature a variety of restaurants and concessions. You can even gaze at Colorado’s Front Range from an outdoor deck on the western end of the B Gates.
In addition to Men’s and Women’s restrooms, you’ll find family restrooms, pet relief areas and nursing rooms.
