Parking Alert: Partial West Garage Closure

Parking Alert: Rows A-D in the West Garage will be closed July 15 through 22 on all levels for power washing and re-striping work. Any remaining vehicles in the area will be relocated to the surface lot adjacent to the southwest corner of West Garage.

DEN’s 2024 Concerts on the Fly

How frequent are the concerts taking place?

Each Sunday, July 28 through Sept. 1 from 2 – 6 p.m. (door open at 1:30 p.m.)

How much does it cost to attend?

The concerts are free to attend, but guests must register in advance. Food and beverages will be available for purchase. If you park at DEN, standard parking rates apply.

Do I have to register for the concerts since they are free?

Yes. Although the concerts are free, there are a limited number of tickets available, and guests must register in advance. Registration will be available two weeks prior to the concert date. Please visit the concert event page.

Is there an age limit?

No. All ages are welcome.

What’s the easiest way to get there?

Park on the Plaza is located pre-security, is open to the public and is just steps from the RTD A Line station at DEN.

For those who choose to drive, the airport parking garage is a short walk to the Park on the Plaza and costs $7/hour. If driving to the event, guests are encouraged to park in the southern-most lot located adjacent to the Westin, on either the east or west side of the terminal. View real-time parking availability.

Is there seating?

Floor seating is available on grass-like turf. Guests are welcome to bring low-to-the-ground lawn chairs or blankets to sit on. Blankets must be smaller than 8 x 8.

Can I bring my own food and drink?

Yes. Attendees may bring their own food and non-alcoholic beverages. Food, non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks are available for purchase. Glass containers are not allowed.

Are there designated places for people with accessibility needs to sit?

Park on the Plaza is ADA accessible. If you need assistance upon arrival, please see one of the staff working the event and they will be able to assist.

What time do doors open?

Gates open and DJ begins at 1:30 p.m.; live music starts at 2:30 p.m.

What time do the concerts end?

Each concert will end at approximately 5:30 p.m. There may be a rain delays due to lightning or high winds. All shows will end by 8 p.m. regardless.

Can I re-enter the concert if I need to run to my car?

Yes, you will be able to leave and re-enter the event space. Event registration status will be verified upon re-entry.

Will the concerts take place in bad weather?

Concerts will take place in rain or shine. Concerts may be delayed due to lightning or high winds. The concerts are scheduled to end by 5:30 p.m. however will end by 8 p.m. in the event of a weather delay. Shows may be cancelled due to inclement weather for the safety of our guests and performers. Performance updates will be communicated on the DEN’s x pageFacebook page and Instagram stories.

Are there any items that are prohibited?

The following items are prohibited:

  • Weapons of any kind
  • Alcoholic beverages, marijuana or illegal drugs
  • Glass containers
  • Pets (unless service animals)
  • Bullhorns or noisemakers
  • Fireworks
  • Lasers/laser pointers
  • Flying objects including frisbees, remote controlled flying devices, drones
  • Tents, canopies, umbrellas, sport shades, canopy umbrellas
  • Any furniture, including Inflatable furniture. (Low lawn chairs are permitted)
  • Cooking or grilling equipment of any kind

Why is DEN hosting a concert? Aren’t you an airport?

We like to think we’re so much more than an airport! This concert series will bring together community, passengers and employees. Take a peek at all the events we host at DEN here.

Is smoking allowed?

The DEN Plaza is a smoke and vape-free facility. There are designated smoking areas outside of the concert space. Look for posted signage.  Smoking or vaping marijuana is not allowed at DEN.
