GETTING TO AND FROM

Go To DEN

What is Go To DEN?

Go To DEN is our new initiative encouraging people to think beyond driving solo to and from the airport. We’re partnering with DEN employees and visitors to provide access to and incentives for choosing alternative wheels — rail, bus, carpools, vanpools … even bikes and scooters. The result can be a trip that’s less stressful, more economical, and protects the environment. As the Go To DEN tagline says, it’s way smarter.

What does Go To DEN do?

With the Go To DEN program, we are beginning to implement multiple strategies that make it easier and more affordable to access the airport without driving alone. These include improving connections between transit modes, expanding micro mobility infrastructure, and supporting shared ride options. Go To DEN is designed to reduce congestion, lower emissions, and create a more seamless experience for airport employees and travelers alike.

A few strategies we have implemented so far

Transit Screens

DEN is piloting a real-time transit screen in the great hall, to allow users to better plan their travel from DEN. This screen will include next arrival information for transit services, real-time traffic conditions, and other ground transportation information.

Employee Commute Program

  • The Vanpool program allows groups of employees with similar schedules and routes to share a ride in a leased van, reducing individual commuting costs and traffic congestion.
  • The Carpool program will help match employees for shared rides, offering flexibility while lowering fuel expenses and parking demand.
  • The Guaranteed Ride Home program will provide peace of mind by ensuring that participants in shared commute options have access to a reliable ride home using a Taxi/uber/lyft in case of emergencies or unexpected schedule changes.

Program Benefits:

  • Go To DEN will fund Guaranteed Ride Home for 1 year to all employees ($5/employee/year for ride insurance) at tenant partners
  • Go To DEN will 100% fund employee vanpools for first year
  • Go To DEN will provide incentives/gift cards to employee carpools
  • Employees will have dedicated, premium parking spots in employee lots for vanpools & carpools

DEN is working on many other strategies to improve your commute to the airport. Stay tuned for more.
