How to Get Started

Each air carrier, tenant, vendor or contractor requiring access to a Sterile Area, Secured Area or Controlled Area of DEN must become a “Participant” in the Airport Security Program and must remain in good standing with the program to maintain airport access and badging privileges.

Complete the Participant Sponsorship Agreement / Online Application

The Sponsorship Agreement establishes that a vendor or contractor (Sponsored Company) has legitimate business at DEN and must be submitted to and approved by Airport Security prior to the New Participant Meeting

Once received and approved by DEN Airport Security, an Airport Security representative will contact the company to schedule a New Participant Meeting

Attend a New Participant Meeting

  • Attend a New Participant Meeting either in person or online with an Airport Security representative
  • All pertinent security information and responsibilities will be covered in this meeting

Once received and approved by DEN Airport Security, an Airport Security representative will contact the company to schedule a New Participant Meeting

Schedule and Complete Visit One at the Badging Office

Fingerprinting and Background Check. Badges are not received at visit one

Complete Visit | Training Video Test and Badge Pickup at the Badging Office

After results come back from visit one, continue to DEN Security Training and Badging

Participant Sponsorship Agreement

Participant Sponsorship Agreement(s) must be agreed upon and signed by both the Sponsoring and Sponsored companies and submitted to and approved by Airport Security prior to New Participant Meeting. This agreement establishes the following:

  • Authorized Signatory for the company and contact information for the individual designated as Authorized Signatory (e-mail address, phone number, etc.)
  • Areas, doors/gates and routes to which the company will require access, along with an explanation of the demonstrated business need for the access

Once received and approved by DEN Airport Security, an Airport Security representative will contact the company to schedule a New Participant Meeting
